2016 Honda CR-V 1.6L Diesel · OW65 GKL

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a consistent history of clean passes. The most recent test conducted on 15 October 2025 at 95,641 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, maintaining a perfect record over the last several years. This stability suggests a proactive maintenance regime where the previous owners have likely addressed minor mechanical issues before they could escalate into MOT failures. The mileage accumulation is remarkably consistent for a ten-year-old Honda, averaging approximately 9,500 miles per annum. Between January 2022 and October 2025, the vehicle covered 42,488 miles, indicating a steady and predictable usage pattern. Since the October 2024 test at 84,328 miles, the car has covered 11,313 miles in a year, which aligns well with typical annual use. This regular operation helps mitigate the risks associated with long periods of standing or the accelerated wear seen in high-intensity motorway driving. Because the MOT record shows no recurring faults regarding suspension bushes, brake components, or structural corrosion, a prospective buyer should still perform a physical inspection of common CR-V wear points. At nearly 96,000 miles, focus on the condition of the rear coil springs and the integrity of the wish arms, as these often show fatigue at this age. Check for any signs of oil leaks around the engine seals or the gearbox housing, despite the clean electronic test history. The overall data indicates a vehicle that has been well-maintained and remains structurally sound.
