2016 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · OY16 FFW

The Toyota Yaris presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 9 February 2026 at 102,492 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean MOT outcomes across the prior four years. Annual mileage sits at roughly 10,249 miles, typical for a 2016 vehicle. The records show steady accumulation: 81,339 miles in February 2022, 91,604 in February 2023, 94,956 in February 2024, 98,575 in February 2025, and 102,492 in February 2026. No gaps or sudden jumps appear. The DVSA history is sparse in faults, with every entry listing zero advisories across suspension, brakes, exhaust emissions, and structural integrity. A clean five-year MOT run with no advisories suggests previous owners kept basic upkeep current rather than deferring consumable replacement. That said, the absence of flagged items does not confirm component condition. At 102,492 miles the original coil springs, suspension bushes, and brake discs will carry ten years of fatigue even if testers found nothing excessive. A buyer should still inspect for early corrosion on sills and subframes, check tyre sidewall cracking from age rather than wear, and verify brake caliper slide freedom during a road test. The record implies no serious mechanical risk, but in-person checks on aged rubber and underbody integrity remain sensible before purchase.
