2022 Toyota Hilux Active D-4D 4WD ECB 2.4L Diesel · PK72 ABN

The Toyota Hilux Active D-4D passed its most recent MOT on 1 September 2025 at 52,374 miles with no defects recorded. This single clean test indicates a stable maintenance trend, though the limited history prevents observation of long-term patterns. The vehicle held roadworthy status eleven months before the current date. Registered in 2022, the pickup is approximately four years old and shows high mileage for its age. The September 2025 reading of 52,374 miles implies an average annual accumulation near 13,100 miles, well above typical light-use figures. The DVSA record lacks earlier entries, so we cannot trace rapid jumps or gaps, but the solitary pass suggests the previous owner maintained statutory compliance while covering substantial distance. No advisories or mechanical faults appear in the official data, yet the buyer must still scrutinise components prone to wear on a high-mileage 4WD. The tester flagged nothing on suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, or structural corrosion. A physical inspection should nonetheless check for binding rear calipers and exhaust emissions integrity, as these can degrade without triggering an MOT failure. Given the sparse record, verify underbody rust and drivetrain condition in person. The Hilux's recorded care looks adequate, but elevated annual miles demand confirmation of tyre tread and wiper blades. A professional appraisal remains sensible before purchase.
