2017 Mercedes-Benz C 3.0L Petrol · R55 TBL

The vehicle exhibits a clean and stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by four consecutive passes without a single recorded defect or advisory. The most recent test conducted on 21 July 2025 at 44,157 miles confirms that the primary safety systems, including the braking components, lighting, and structural integrity, met the required standards. This consistent performance over the last four years suggests a high level of diligence regarding routine maintenance and mechanical upkeep. The recorded mileage of 44,157 miles over a nine-year period averages approximately 4,906 miles per annum, which is significantly lower than the typical usage for a vehicle of this class. The MOT history shows a steady and predictable accumulation of miles between each annual test, indicating the car has been used regularly rather than left standing for extended periods. This pattern of light, consistent use is generally favourable, as it reduces the likelihood of issues associated with long-term storage, such as seized calipers or fuel system degradation. Despite the lack of recorded advisories, a prospective buyer should conduct a thorough physical inspection of the suspension bushes and coil springs, as these components often show wear on Mercedes-Benz C-Class models of this age regardless of low mileage. You should also verify the condition of the brake discs and pads, as low-mileage vehicles can sometimes suffer from surface corrosion on discs due to infrequent use. While the MOT history is exemplary, ensure that the service book confirms regular oil and filter changes, as the electronic test does not account for the condition of the engine internals or transmission fluid.
