2020 Aston Martin Vantage 4.0L Petrol · R5 RTW

The vehicle maintains an exemplary roadworthiness record, characterized by a consistent trend of clean passes. The most recent inspection on 24 February 2026 at 18,038 miles resulted in a clear certificate with no defects or advisories recorded. This history confirms that the vehicle has been subjected to rigorous maintenance standards, with no recurring mechanical failures or safety-critical issues identified by testers over the past three years. The recorded mileage of 18,038 miles over a six-year period reflects a light usage pattern, averaging approximately 3,006 miles annually. The progression of mileage is steady and logical, showing no evidence of long-term storage or periods of inactivity that might otherwise lead to perished rubber seals, fuel system degradation, or seized mechanical components. The interval between the 2023 and 2026 tests indicates the car has been kept in regular operation, which is generally preferable for high-performance engines and complex drivetrain systems compared to prolonged disuse. Prospective buyers should focus their physical inspection on the condition of high-performance consumables, as the clean MOT record does not account for the current state of brake pad thickness or tyre compound degradation. While the structural integrity and emissions systems have consistently met legal requirements, the low mileage suggests the original brake discs may still be fitted; check these for signs of lipping or surface corrosion caused by infrequent heavy braking. Verify the condition of the suspension bushes and dampers, as these components can deteriorate due to age rather than just distance covered. Given the lack of historical advisories, the vehicle appears to have been maintained to a high standard, though a cold-start assessment remains advisable to ensure the engine and exhaust systems perform optimally.
