2017 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · SM17 ABX

This Toyota Aygo is in an exceptional state of roadworthiness with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 26 September 2025 at 23,379 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. While the record shows a failure on the same day, the lack of listed defects suggests a clerical error or a minor administrative issue rather than a mechanical failure. The vehicle has covered very low mileage for its age, averaging roughly 2,598 miles per year. The progression from 14,319 miles in September 2022 to 23,379 miles in September 2025 shows consistent, light usage over the last three years. There are no sudden spikes in mileage or suspicious gaps that would suggest commercial use or periods of neglect. The MOT history is remarkably clean, with no advisories or failures regarding suspension bushes, brake discs, or structural corrosion across five years of testing. This suggests a high standard of care from the previous owner. The absence of recurring faults indicates a vehicle that has avoided the common wear-and-tear issues typical of city cars. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components that degrade regardless of mileage. Low-use vehicles often suffer from perished tyre rubber or binding brake calipers due to inactivity. Check the date codes on the tyres and ensure the brake pedals feel responsive. Given the lack of recorded corrosion, a quick check of the underbody for surface rust is sufficient to confirm the vehicle's integrity.
