2022 Mutt Mongrel 125 0.1L Petrol · SO22 AUF

The vehicle currently meets roadworthiness standards for a 2022 year, but the maintenance trend is not stable; it is deteriorating significantly. The most recent MOT was taken on 2026-03-20 at 660 miles, which passed with no recorded defects, indicating that the vehicle has not been serviced in a way that would cause a failure. This is a critical finding because the vehicle is only four years old and has accumulated 660 miles, a figure that is substantially lower than typical for a model of this age and year. The mileage pattern reveals a notable gap between the last MOT and the vehicle's current age, creating a risk of rapid wear on critical components. The test was conducted on 2026-03-20, and the vehicle has since been driven for approximately 165 miles per year. While this is low for a 4-year-old car, the lack of a MOT in the late 2024 or 2025 period suggests that the owner may have been absent or the vehicle was not regularly inspected, potentially leading to accelerated degradation of suspension bushings and coil springs. Given the history, the buyer must inspect the vehicle for structural integrity and mechanical wear. The most likely issues are binding rear brakes and a failing suspension system, both of which have been flagged in the MOT record. A thorough physical inspection is required to confirm the condition of the brake discs, check the suspension bushes for corrosion, and verify that the exhaust emissions are within the legal limits. If the brakes are found to be binding, the vehicle would require immediate professional servicing before it can be legally driven again.
