2022 Volkswagen Polo Style TSI 1.0L Petrol · SY72 WYH

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent assessment. In the 25 November 2025 test at 16,749 miles, the Polo passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the mechanical and safety-critical components met all DVSA standards at the time of the inspection. The mileage pattern is notably low for a four-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,187 miles per year. This low usage suggests the car has been used sparingly for short trips, which typically results in less wear on drivetrain components, suspension bushes, and brake assemblies. However, such low mileage can sometimes indicate long periods of standing, which may lead to flat-spotted tyres or degradation of rubber components that a standard MOT might not fully capture. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults or structural concerns, a physical inspection should focus on components affected by low-mileage storage. A buyer should check for surface corrosion on the brake discs and calipers which often occurs when a vehicle is not driven frequently. Additionally, inspecting the condition of the suspension bushings and tyre sidewalls for cracking is advisable to ensure these have aged well despite the low mileage. The lack of previous advisories suggests the vehicle has been kept in good condition, but a manual check of the fluid levels and battery health remains necessary.
