2014 Mercedes-Benz ML 3.0L Diesel · V6 GUR

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test on 20 April 2026 at 68,332 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This reflects a stable maintenance trend over the last five years, suggesting that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids the common mechanical failures or structural degradation typically seen in SUVs of this age and weight. The mileage pattern is notably low for a twelve-year-old Mercedes, averaging approximately 5,700 miles per year. Between May 2022 at 43,609 miles and April 2026 at 68,332 miles, the vehicle covered 24,723 miles. This consistent low-level usage often results in less wear on drivetrain components, brakes, and suspension. However, the low-mileage profile can sometimes mask the degradation of rubber-based components or fluid-related stationary periods, which the MOT does not always fully capture. Despite the lack of recorded faults, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on components prone to low-mileage neglect. Examine the suspension bushes, arm bushings, and coil springs for signs of perishishing or cracking, as these can degrade over time regardless of distance driven. Check the brake system for caliper binding or disc pitting, as infrequently used brakes can suffer to surface corrosion. Additionally, verify the chassis for any signs of hidden rust to ensure the structural integrity remains as sound as the digital records suggest.
