2023 Peugeot 3008 Allure Premium+ SS Phev A 1.6L Hybrid electric (clean) · VN23 FMA

A single faultless MOT test logged on the second of December 2025 constitutes the entire official compliance history for this Peugeot 3008, reflecting a stable baseline of roadworthiness with no recorded defects or advisory items to date. Because the vehicle has only faced statutory testing on one occasion, there is no historical trail of recurring advisories or progressive component wear to analyze. This clean single-test result means that while the car met minimum legal standards at the time of its last examination, future structural and mechanical reliability remains unproven over a multi-year timeline, necessitating a thorough physical inspection during any prospective purchase evaluation. Accumulating just 16,895 miles over its three-year lifespan translates to an average of roughly 5,600 miles per year, establishing a distinctly low usage profile compared to the national average. This limited mileage indicates light running or periods of extended inactivity, neither of which guarantees freedom from wear. While high-mileage vehicles typically show uniform wear across drivetrain components and consumables from consistent daily operation, low-mileage examples like this require careful checking to ensure that short urban journeys have not induced accelerated brake corrosion or prevented proper regeneration cycles within the plug-in hybrid powertrain systems. Although no specific suspension linkages, brake lines, or fluid leaks were flagged during the statutory test, prospective buyers must still conduct targeted physical checks during a static and dynamic evaluation. On the test drive, listen closely for any unusual knocks or creaks from the front and rear suspension when traversing uneven road surfaces or speed humps, which would indicate early degradation in the bushes or drop links. Pay attention to brake pedal feel, ensuring there is no judder or sponginess when transitioning between regenerative braking and the traditional hydraulic friction brakes. A comprehensive inspection of the underbody and hybrid component housing is equally essential to verify that the low usage has not coincided with localized corrosion or moisture accumulation around electrical cabling. Verify that all hybrid charging modes function correctly and that the petrol engine transitions smoothly under load without hesitation. Checking these specific areas will provide a clearer picture of the vehicle's true mechanical state beyond the single clean pass recorded on the DVSA database.
