2014 Vauxhall Zafira 2.0L Diesel · VU64 CGO

The vehicle remains technically roadworthy, though the maintenance history indicates a trend of reactive rather than proactive upkeep. While the most recent test in August 2025 at 76,117 miles passed, it revealed multiple advisories regarding tyre condition, specifically the nearside and offside front tyres being worn to the legal limit and showing signs of perishing. This suggests the owner only replaces consumables when they fail an inspection rather than during scheduled servicing. The mileage pattern is consistent with a low-mileage older vehicle, averaging approximately 6,300 miles per year. Between August 2024 at 65,677 miles and August 2025 at 76,117 miles, the car covered 10,440 miles, which represents a significant spike in usage compared to the previous annual averages. The clean test records in 2022 and 2024 show that the vehicle is capable of passing without defects under normal conditions, but the overall low mileage increases the risk of rubber components degrading over time. A buyer should conduct a close inspection of the front suspension assembly. The August 2023 test at 57,534 miles flagged worn Macpherson strut pins and bushes on both sides. While these did not cause a failure in subsequent tests, the recurring nature of suspension wear suggests the components are nearing the end of their functional life. Additionally, the perishing noted in the 2025 record indicates that the tyres are age-related failures rather than just mileage-related, necessitating immediate replacement regardless of remaining tread depth.
