2009 Abarth 500 1.4L Petrol · W500 ABH

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status based on the last four annual MOT tests. The most recent inspection on 19 June 2025 resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This consistency follows similar clean pass results from 2022, 2023, and 2024, indicating that the vehicle has met the minimum safety and emissions requirements for the past several years without failure. At 41,594 miles, the 2009 Abarth 500 has averaged approximately 2,447 miles per year over its seventeen-year life. This low annual mileage suggests infrequent use, which often results in less wear on drivetrain and suspension components compared to higher mileage vehicles. The record shows consistent annual testing without significant gaps in the inspection history, suggesting the vehicle has remained in active use or stored regularly between intervals. Because the MOT history shows no recorded faults or advisories, a physical inspection should focus on issues associated with low-mileage vehicles. Cars that sit frequently often suffer from degradation of rubber components, including suspension bushes, split hoses, and perished tyres despite tread depth. A buyer should specifically check the brake discs for corrosion or pitting, as infrequent use can lead to surface rust and binding calipers. Additionally, the structural integrity of the chassis should be verified for hidden rust, as the MOT only identifies visible corrosion once it reaches a legal threshold.
