2012 Kawasaki Versys 0.7L Petrol · WR12 ABU

This vehicle presents a stable and clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 12 November 2025 at 24,962 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean tests dating back to 2022, indicating a vehicle that has been maintained to a standard that consistently meets DVSA requirements without recurring mechanical failures. The mileage is notably low for a 14 year old motorcycle, averaging roughly 1,783 miles per year. There was a significant increase in usage between November 2022 and November 2023, where the odometer rose from 11,547 to 16,254 miles. More recently, the distance covered between November 2024 and November 2025 was 4,664 miles. This variation suggests periods of light use interspersed with more active riding cycles. The absence of advisories or failures regarding brake discs, tyres, or suspension bushes across five years of testing is unusual and suggests a high level of preventative care. The failure recorded on 6 November 2024 was resolved on the same day with no defects listed, which likely points to a minor administrative error or a trivial fix. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components that degrade regardless of mileage. Long periods of standing can lead to perished tyres, degraded brake fluid, or battery failure. Check for corrosion on the frame and swingarm, and ensure the chain and sprockets have been lubricated and tensioned correctly, as the MOT record does not capture the state of these consumables unless they pose an immediate safety risk.
