2012 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2.0L Diesel · WV12 AEC

The 2012 Alfa Romeo Giulietta presents a stable and clean roadworthiness trend, with the most recent test on 1 November 2023 at 110,474 miles returning a pass and no defects recorded. Across the five available MOT entries from May 2019 to November 2023, the vehicle cleared every examination without advisories or failures. This unbroken pass record indicates the previous keeper maintained the car to a standard that satisfied DVSA testers at each interval. Annual mileage sat close to the typical 7,891-mile average for the vehicle's age, though the record shows uneven accumulation. The May 2019 test at 53,073 miles was followed by the November 2021 test at 87,496 miles, implying roughly 34,000 miles were covered across a 30-month gap with only one intermediate test missing from the supplied data. From November 2021 to November 2023 the car added 23,000 miles, a more regular yearly rate. The clean sheets across this span suggest no neglected periods of use that would typically surface as corrosion or worn consumables. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity and underbody corrosion given the car's fourteen-year age and the absence of any advisory notes in the record, which does not confirm these areas were closely examined. Suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs warrant physical checks for fatigue not captured by a pass result. The drivetrain has absorbed above-average load during the 2021 to 2023 phase and should be assessed for clutch wear and gearbox condition. The supplied history offers no recurring faults to track and no minor consumable issues such as tyre tread or wiper blades were flagged at any test. The lack of advisories across four years implies competent upkeep, but a clean MOT is not a substitute for a pre-purchase mechanical appraisal on a high-mileage Italian hatchback.
