2016 Ford Fiesta 1.5L Diesel · WV66 AYS

The vehicle currently holds a roadworthy status, having passed its most recent MOT test on 24 October 2025 at 93,534 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable, as the car consistently meets the minimum legal standards following initial test failures. While the record shows failures immediately prior to passes in both 2024 and 2025, the owner has proactively addressed the identified issues to achieve compliance without leaving any recurring mechanical defects. The mileage accumulation is consistent with a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,350 miles per year. Between the October 2023 test at 62,149 miles and the October 2024 test at 82,532 miles, the car covered over 20,000 miles in a year before another 11,000 miles were recorded prior to the 2025 test. This regular usage suggests consistent engine driving which is generally beneficial for vehicle seals and rubber components compared to cars with long periods of standing. Because the MOT history recorded no specific defects or advisories, a buyer should focus on a physical inspection of common wear items typical for this mileage bracket. At over 93,000 miles, you must inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of cracking or perished rubber. The brake discs and pads should be checked for thinning or uneven wear, as the MOT does not account for the remaining life of these consumable components unless they fail to meet specific safety thresholds.
