2013 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Petrol · YB13 EKM

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clean current MOT status. The most recent test conducted on 29 April 2025 at 39,521 miles resulted in no defects, indicating that the car currently meets all minimum safety standards. This follows a consistent trend of clean passes since 2022, suggesting that the owner has maintained the vehicle to a standard that avoids recurring mechanical failures or structural degradation during testing. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 13-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 3,000 miles annually. Between July 2022 at 32,024 miles and April 2025 at 39,521 miles, the car covered only 7,497 miles. While low mileage typically reduces wear on the engine and drivetrain, the long intervals between tests can lead to degradation of rubber-based components. The failure on 17 July 2023 at 34,836 miles appears to have been an isolated fix as the vehicle passed the retest the same day without further recorded issues. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components affected by age rather than distance-related wear. Because the car sits for long periods, check for perished rubber seals, cracked tyre sidewalls, and degraded bushes in the suspension system. Inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion or seized calipers, as low-use vehicles often suffer from rust buildup on braking surfaces. Additionally, examine the chassis and mounting points for structural rust, as the age of the vehicle makes it susceptible to environmental oxidation regardless of how few miles it has covered.
