2012 Audi A6 2.0L Diesel · YG62 YEU

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness based on a consistent history of clean passes. The most recent inspection conducted on 28 January 2026 at 136,919 miles resulted in no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the previous owners have likely maintained the vehicle to a high standard, as the car has failed to flag any mechanical or structural failures across the last five testing cycles. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical usage for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 9,780 miles per year. A notable period of use occurred between October 2022 at 109,123 miles and October 2023 at 133,088 miles, where the car covered nearly 24,000 miles in a single year. Prior to this spike, the accumulation was more gradual. The lack of significant gaps in testing suggests the vehicle has been driven regularly, which helps prevent the seal failures and corrosion concerns associated with long periods of standing stationary. While the MOT record is devoid of recorded faults, an in-person inspection should focus on common wear points for an Audi A6 of this generation. Given the mileage, the buyer should verify the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of tearing or cracking, as these often degrade at high mileage. The brake discs should be checked for thinning and caliper binding, as the MOT only tests for functional efficiency rather than overall component health. Checking the structural integrity of the underbody for surface corrosion is also a prudent step despite the clean test history.
