2012 Honda Accord 2.4L Petrol · YJ62 XDP

The vehicle presents as a roadworthy unit, evidenced by the most recent MOT pass on 12 May 2026 at 90,898 miles. This clean result shows no recorded defects, indicating a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle currently meets all minimum safety and emissions standards. The absence of advisories in the latest inspection suggests that the previous owner has addressed potential mechanical or structural issues prior to the test date. At 14 years of age, the recorded mileage of 90,898 miles represents an annual average of approximately 6,500 miles. This low-mileage profile typically results in reduced wear on the drivetrain and engine components compared to high-mileage examples of the same era. The proximity of the last test to the current date confirms the vehicle is still in active use and has been subject to regular regulatory oversight rather than suffering from long periods of neglect. Despite the clean digital record, a buyer must perform a physical inspection of components prone to age-related degradation rather than mileage-related wear. Focus on rubber elements such as suspension bushes, control arm mounts, and wiper blades which may have perished perished. Given the vehicle's age, inspect the chassis for structural corrosion, particularly along the sills and wheel arches, as MOT tests only flag rust once it becomes a structural failure. Check the brakes for binding calipers or pitted discs, as low-mileage use can sometimes lead to surface oxidation on braking components.
