2015 BMW 640 3.0L Diesel · C23 CBD

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a consistent history of clean MOT passes over the last five years. The most recent test conducted on 12 May 2025 at 104,446 miles showed no defects or advisories, indicating a stable maintenance trend. This lack of recorded faults suggests that the previous owners were proactive regarding vehicle upkeep, as the car has failed to trigger mechanical or structural alarms during annual inspections. The mileage accumulation is remarkably consistent for an eleven-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,500 miles per year. Data shows a steady progression from 71,137 miles in November 2021 to the current 104,446 miles in May 2025. There are no signs of erratic usage or long periods of inactivity that often lead to seized brake components or perished rubber seals. The intervals between tests, generally falling between 8,000 and 9,000 miles, reflect a regular driving pattern that benefits the drivetrain and suspension components. Despite the clean digital record, an on-site physical inspection should focus on common wear points for a BMW of this age and mileage. The buyer should examine the condition of the suspension bushes and control arms, as these often degrade before they manifest as an MOT failure. Given the mileage, checking for oil leaks around the engine gaskets and verifying the state of the brake discs is also advisable. While the record has not flagged structural corrosion, a close look at the underbody for surface damage remains necessary to ensure no hidden rust has developed on the chassis.
