2017 Mercedes-Benz C 220 AMG Line D Auto 2.1L Heavy oil · LD17 ABX

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with no defects recorded in its last four MOT tests, including the most recent 2025-05-27 inspection at 30,773 miles. All prior tests from 2021 to 2024 also passed without issues, indicating consistent maintenance and adherence to safety standards. No advisories or failures suggest the car has been well-maintained, though the absence of recorded defects does not preclude hidden wear in non-MOT-checked components. The mileage profile shows a low annual average of 3,419 miles, with the 2022-05-15 test at 26,782 miles followed by a 2,718-mile increase to 29,500 by 2023-05-25. This slow accumulation implies infrequent use or periods of inactivity, which may affect fluid longevity and component corrosion. The MOT history is clean but sparse, with no data on tyre wear, suspension, or exhaust emissions, which are not assessed during standard MOTs. A buyer should physically inspect the underbody for corrosion, particularly around the chassis and exhaust system, as prolonged inactivity can accelerate rust. Check suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, as these are not tested in MOTs but critical for handling. Verify brake discs and calipers for uneven wear, and confirm the battery’s condition, as low mileage can lead to sulfation. The absence of recorded issues is positive, but non-MOT components require independent verification.
