2016 Iveco Daily 2.3L Diesel · T666 ABM

This vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clean record of passing its most recent MOT on 6 May 2025 at 106,369 miles. The absence of any recorded defects or advisories over the last three years suggests a vehicle that is well-maintained or has had major components replaced proactively. The maintenance trend is consistently positive, as the tester flagged no mechanical or structural issues during the 2023, 2024, or 2025 inspections. The mileage pattern is typical for a ten-year-old commercial vehicle, averaging roughly 10,637 miles per year. There was a notable increase in usage between the April 2024 test at 98,461 miles and the May 2025 test at 106,369 miles, representing a jump of nearly 8,000 miles in one year. This indicates a period of heavier operational use, but the lack of resulting advisories suggests the drivetrain and suspension handled the increased load without immediate degradation. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on areas the MOT test often overlooks or that typically wear on high-mileage Iveco Dailies. While the records show no failures for corrosion or suspension bushes, the chassis and load area should be checked for surface rust and structural integrity. The absence of brake or tyre advisories in the history is encouraging, but a manual check of the brake disc thickness and tyre tread depth is still necessary to ensure consumables are not nearing the end of their service life. The history of failures on 30 April 2024 and 6 May 2025 is unusual because no specific defects were listed. This often points to administrative errors or very minor issues resolved instantly on-site. Given the clean technical record, the vehicle appears mechanically sound, provided the buyer verifies the service history for oil changes and timing belt intervals which are not captured in MOT data.
