2014 Ford Fiesta 1.6L Petrol · AE14 MVZ

The 2014 Ford Fiesta presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 21 May 2025 at 84,862 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the prior clean pass dated 1 June 2023 at 69,238 miles confirms no advisories or mechanical faults have been raised across the available history. The record shows no recurring wear items or structural concerns. Mileage progression sits close to typical use for a twelve-year-old car. The tester logged 60,239 miles on 30 December 2021, then 69,238 on 1 June 2023, 75,926 on 15 May 2024, and 84,862 on 21 May 2025. That equates to roughly 7,000 to 9,000 miles per year, with no abrupt jumps or long dormant periods suggesting neglect through standing. A sparse but clean record gives little insight into consumable renewal habits, though the absence of tyre or brake advisories implies basic upkeep was not skipped. The May 2024 entry shows a fail and a pass on the same day at 75,926 miles, both with no defects recorded. This points to an administrative or documentation issue at the testing station rather than a mechanical fault. No suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, corrosion, or exhaust emission problems appear anywhere in the chain. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of structural integrity and underbody for hidden rust, and verify the condition of tyres, wiper blades, and fluid levels given the record's silence on consumables. The clean MOT trail offers reasonable assurance, but the 2024 dual entry warrants confirmation that the V5C and DVSA portal match the vehicle's true test status.
