2014 Citroen Berlingo 1.6L Diesel · AE64 RXZ

The Citroen Berlingo presents a currently roadworthy status following a pass on 17 February 2026 at 51,916 miles with no defects recorded. The maintenance trend reads as stable across the available history, though the record shows two anomalous fail entries on the same test dates as passes, both at 46,817 miles (5 March 2025) and 51,911 miles (17 February 2026), with no defects cited. Such paired fail-pass logs typically point to administrative re-tests or data anomalies rather than mechanical faults, and no advisories or repairs appear across any test. Recorded mileage sits at 51,916 against a 2014 build, averaging roughly 4,326 miles per year. The jump from 38,668 miles at the 22 December 2023 test to 46,817 miles by March 2025 adds about 8,149 miles in just over a year, then a further 5,099 miles to February 2026. This low overall use suggests light duty or periods of standing, with no rapid accumulation that would accelerate drivetrain or suspension wear. The sparse, clean record gives little to challenge on consumables or structure. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the vehicle's age and low-use profile, as standing time promotes corrosion and seized components the MOT did not flag. Check exhaust emissions and underbody structural integrity for rust, particularly around sills and subframes. The twin fail-with-no-defect entries warrant confirmation the V5C and DVSA portal show no suppressed advisories before purchase.
