2017 Subaru Impreza 2.5L Petrol · AE66 GRZ

The most recent MOT on record was completed in December 2021, which means the vehicle is currently significantly overdue for a new test. While the 2021 result was a pass, it did note that the windscreen was damaged, though it did not obstruct the driver's view at that time. The recorded maintenance pattern shows a previous failure in December 2020, where both front tyres were found to be dangerously worn with the internal cords exposed in the sidewalls. Since that failure, the trend appears to have stabilised, as the following year's test showed no mechanical defects. With 54,470 miles recorded, the mileage is typical for a nine-year-old car, averaging roughly 6,000 miles per year. This suggests the vehicle has seen regular, moderate use rather than being driven excessively or left sitting for long periods, though the previous tyre issue suggests maintenance may not have always been strictly prioritised. The most important first step is to confirm the vehicle's current MOT status and ensure it is legally roadworthy. Upon physical inspection, you should check the condition of all tyres for uneven wear or sidewall damage and examine the windscreen for any cracks or chips.
