2016 Toyota Auris 1.2L Petrol · AE66 NTG

The 2016 Toyota Auris presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 28 August 2025 at 45,374 miles passed with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken run of clean MOT results across five consecutive annual examinations. Mileage progression shows light, consistent use for a ten-year-old vehicle. The record moved from 11,235 miles at the 8 September 2021 test to 21,354 miles in September 2022, then 33,933 miles in September 2023, 40,597 miles in September 2024, and 45,374 miles in August 2025. That averages roughly 4,500 miles per year with no sudden accumulation spikes or dormant gaps. The clean sheet across all entries suggests the previous keeper kept basic upkeep current rather than deferring consumable replacements. No advisories or defects appear in any test, so the history gives no signal of recurring suspension, brake, or corrosion issues. A buyer should still verify in person that the low standing time has not allowed tyres to age-crack or brake calipers to seize through disuse. Inspect underside structural integrity for surface rust and confirm coil springs and suspension bushes remain free of degradation unseen at test time. Given the sparse but faultless record, a pre-purchase inspection remains sensible to catch latent wear the MOT does not record. The vehicle's low annual mileage implies lighter mechanical strain, yet prolonged static periods can mask binding calipers or flat-spotted tyres best confirmed on a road test.
