2015 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · AJ15 LLX

The 2015 Ford Fiesta currently fails the roadworthiness standard. The most recent test on 16 March 2026 at 62,836 miles returned a failure with no defects recorded, which indicates an administrative or unlogged fault rather than a clean pass. Prior to that, the trend showed a clean pass on 15 August 2024 at 60,309 miles, following a failure one week earlier at 60,261 miles with no defects noted. The pattern is not worsening mechanically on paper, but the two failures without recorded defects point to inconsistent test handling rather than resolved wear. Recorded mileage sits at 62,836 against an 11-year-old car, averaging roughly 5,712 miles per year. That is low for the age. The gap between the January 2022 test at 49,878 miles and the August 2024 test at 60,261 miles shows about 10,400 miles added over 31 months, then only 2,527 miles in the 19 months since. Low use with long standing periods raises the risk of perished rubber components, seized calipers, and corrosion on structural members despite the sparse record. The MOT history logs no advisories or defects across any entry, so no recurring suspension bushes, coil spring, brake disc, or exhaust emission issues appear in the data. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of subframe corrosion, brake binding, and tyre sidewall cracking given the low mileage and standing time. The two defect-free failures mean the DVSA record alone cannot confirm the car is structurally sound or mechanically ready for the road.
