2004 Enfield 350 0.3L Petrol · AY04 MHE

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status based on the most recent inspection. On 21 June 2024, the motorcycle passed its MOT test at 658 miles with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates that at the time of the last official check, the vehicle met all minimum safety and emission standards without any immediate mechanical or structural failure. The recorded mileage is exceptionally low for a 22-year-old machine, averaging approximately 30 miles per year. While this low usage suggests minimal wear on the drivetrain, engine components, and braking surfaces, it also introduces specific risks associated with long periods of inactivity. The data from the June 2024 test confirms the vehicle has remained in operating condition, but the lack of mileage accumulation often masks underlying age-related material degradation rather than wear-related damage. A buyer must prioritize a physical inspection of components that degrade through time rather than distance. Pay close attention to dry rot in the tyres, perished fuel lines, and aging rubber seals, as these elements become brittle regardless of low mileage. The braking system should be checked for seized calipers or pitted brake discs, as infrequent use frequently leads to heavy surface corrosion and binding pistons. Additionally, the frame must be inspected for structural rust or deep-seated corrosion that may have developed during the long periods of stationary storage.
