2021 KIA Stonic 2 1.0L Petrol · CO71 WAY

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a perfectly stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 22 September 2025 at 25,535 miles resulted in zero defects or advisories. This indicates that the previous owners have maintained the car to a standard that meets all DVSA safety and environmental requirements without any recurring mechanical failures. The mileage pattern is notably low for a five-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 5,107 miles annually. Between the September 2024 test at 19,453 miles and the September 2025 test at 25,535 miles, the car covered 6,082 miles. This consistent, low-intensity usage typically suggests less strain on drivetrain components, engine internals, and suspension, though it can occasionally lead to minor corrosion if the vehicle sits stationary for extended periods. Since the MOT history shows no historical faults regarding structural integrity or mechanical components, a physical inspection should focus on items affected by low-mileage use. A buyer should check for brake flat spotting or pitted discs, which can occur from infrequent use, and inspect the sidewalls of tyres for signs of cracking despite the low mileage. Checking the brake fluid and rubber suspension bushings is also advisable to ensure age-related degradation has not overtaken the lack of mechanical wear.
