2016 Mercedes-Benz C 4.0L Petrol · CW10 AMG

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 16 January 2026 at 56,277 miles passed with no defects recorded, continuing a clean run that shows no worsening mechanical faults across the available history. Recorded mileage sits at 56,277 miles against a ten-year lifespan, equating to roughly 5,628 miles per year and marking the car as low-use for its age. The DVSA entries show steady, light accumulation: 50,686 miles in November 2022, 52,866 miles in November 2023, then 54,922 miles by January 2025 and 56,277 by January 2026. A failed test on 14 January 2025 at 54,922 miles carries no listed defects, suggesting an administrative or presentational rejection rather than a mechanical fault, with an immediate pass logged the same day. The sparse, clean record gives no evidence of neglected consumables or deferred structural repairs. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the vehicle's age and likely periods of standing. Low annual mileage can allow corrosion to develop on structural members and underbody components while the car sits idle. The absence of advisories across five tests means no recurring wear pattern exists in the data to target, but pre-purchase checks on exhaust emissions and tyre sidewall condition remain sensible given the light usage profile.
