2015 MINI Roadster 1.6L Petrol · CX15 PYJ

The 2015 MINI Roadster presents as roadworthy following a pass at 102,194 miles on 9 October 2025, with the maintenance trend appearing stable across the recorded history. The only blemish is a failed test on 7 October 2025 at 102,183 miles, where the DVSA record shows no defects listed; the vehicle passed two days later with no faults recorded. This suggests an administrative or procedural rejection rather than a mechanical defect, and no advisories or recurring faults appear across any entry. Mileage has accumulated at a typical rate for an eleven-year-old car, averaging roughly 9,290 miles per year. The record shows 78,453 miles in October 2022, rising to 86,042 by September 2023, 94,442 by October 2024, and 102,194 by October 2025. Annual use held steady near 8,000 to 8,700 miles with no sudden jumps or dormant gaps. The clean pass history with zero advisories across five tests implies the previous owner kept basic consumables and structural items within test limits, though the sparse commentary means worn suspension bushes or corroding subframes may simply have escaped notation. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of brake discs, coil springs, and underbody corrosion given the car's age and roadster body style. The October 2025 fail with no recorded defect warrants confirmation that the V5C and test certificate match and that no suppressed advisory existed. Check tyre tread depth, wiper function, and exhaust emissions in person, as these consumables rotate off the record between tests. No recurring mechanical or structural faults emerge from the DVLA data to flag a worsening pattern. The MINI reads as a lightly used, consistently tested example, but the absence of advisories across eleven years is unusual and justifies a independent underside check before purchase.
