2017 Nissan Qashqai 1.2L Petrol · DA17 BCX

The 2017 Nissan Qashqai presents a clean roadworthiness status with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 1 November 2025 at 63,190 miles passed with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken run of passes across the available history. No advisories or faults appear in any entry, indicating the vehicle has not required corrective work within the MOT regime over the past five years. Annual mileage sits at a typical level for a nine-year-old vehicle. The record shows 42,508 miles at the 30 October 2021 test, rising to 47,028 by 7 November 2022, 52,379 by 6 November 2023, 57,582 by 25 October 2024, and 63,190 by 1 November 2025. That equates to roughly 4,500 to 5,600 miles added each year with no gaps or sudden accumulation. The clean sheet across all five tests suggests the previous owner kept basic upkeep current rather than deferring consumable replacement until failure. Given the absence of flagged defects, no recurring suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, or corrosion issues emerge from the data. The buyer should still commission a physical inspection of structural integrity and underbody for hidden rust, as MOT pass sheets do not itemise components checked without fault. Verify service history independently, since MOT records confirm roadworthiness only and reveal nothing on drivetrain wear or fluid intervals. The low defect profile and steady use pattern imply a low-risk purchase from a mechanical standpoint. A pre-sale check of tyre condition, wiper blades, and exhaust emissions remains sensible, though the record gives no cause to expect imminent mechanical expenditure.
