2011 Audi A5 4.2L Petrol · DA61 EWR

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a remarkably stable maintenance trend across its recorded history. The most recent test in September 2025 at 27,084 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, mirroring the clean passes seen in the previous four annual inspections. This consistent performance suggests the vehicle has been kept in good condition and has not suffered from the mechanical degradation typically seen in cars of this age. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a fifteen-year-old Audi, averaging approximately 1,800 miles per year. There is a notable gap in usage between November 2020 and May 2022, where the car covered only 3,768 miles over eighteen months. Since then, the usage rate has increased slightly, with 10,122 miles recorded between the May 2022 and September 2025 tests. While the low mileage reduces mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the long periods of standing can lead to the deterioration of rubber-based parts and fluid breakdown. A buyer should focus their in-person inspection on components affected by age rather than mileage-related wear. Because the MOT record shows no advisories for corrosion or suspension components, the structural integrity appears sound, but a physical check is required to identify any hidden rust or perished suspension bushes that occur from infrequent use. The brake system should be inspected for surface pitting on discs or seized calipers, as low-use vehicles often suffer these issues. Additionally, the age of the tyres is vital, as rubber degrades over time despite having sufficient tread depth.
