2019 Vauxhall Corsa SRI NAV S/S 1.4L Petrol · DS69 VND

The vehicle passed its most recent MOT on 2 February 2026 at 59,178 miles, though with an advisory noting front tyres worn close to the legal limit and on the edge. The maintenance trend is stable but concerning, as the same front tyre wear pattern was flagged in the January 2023 test at 24,602 miles. This recurring advisory strongly suggests a persistent wheel alignment issue rather than simple consumable wear. A single, non-recurring advisory for a worn wiper linkage in February 2025 represents minor upkeep, while the January 2024 test highlighted slight play in the offside front Macpherson strut ball joint, a suspension component that requires monitoring. Mileage accumulation is consistent and typical for the vehicle’s age. From the recorded history, the car covered approximately 10,000 miles annually between tests: 24,602 miles in January 2023, 34,503 miles in January 2024, 45,500 miles in February 2025, and 59,178 miles in February 2026. This regular usage pattern indicates the car has been in active service without significant periods of standing, which is positive for mechanical components but means consumables like tyres and brakes have seen steady wear. The recorded data is clean and sparse, showing only the mandatory annual tests with no gaps or rapid spikes in mileage. A buyer must physically inspect the front suspension, specifically the Macpherson strut ball joint noted in 2024, for any developing play or knocking, as this is a critical steering and suspension component. The recurring front tyre edge wear necessitates a check for correct wheel alignment and suspension geometry. Furthermore, the current front tyres should be measured for tread depth, as the last MOT advisory was over six months ago and the vehicle may now be below the legal limit. The exhaust, structural integrity, and braking system showed no faults in the recorded history, but a practical inspection of the brake discs for uneven wear or binding is prudent given the alignment suspicion.
