2015 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · DX65 XMG

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent pass record over the last four years. The most recent test on 5 September 2025 at 53,911 miles resulted in an initial failure regarding a malfunctioning offside rear tyre pressure monitoring system. Once this specific electronic fault was rectified, the vehicle passed with no further defects recorded. This indicates that the primary mechanical and structural components remain within acceptable operating parameters despite the minor sensor-related failure. The mileage pattern is notably low for an eleven-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,900 miles per year. The data shows a significant jump in usage between September 2022 at 9,248 miles and September 2023 at 25,413 miles, representing over 16,000 miles in a single year. Since then, the usage has slowed down again, covering roughly 28,500 miles over the following two years. This low annual mileage suggests the car has likely been used for short trips or kept stationary, which can sometimes lead to degradation of components that do not reach operating temperatures. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on rubber-based components and brake fluids, as low-mileage vehicles often suffer from perished bushes, cracked hoses, or seized brake calipers. While the MOT history shows no structural corrosion or suspension failures, the age of the vehicle warrants a check for surface rust on the underside. Given the recent failure of the tyre pressure monitoring system, verify that the sensor is now fully functional and that no warning lights remain on the instrument cluster during a test drive.
