2016 Audi Q3 SE TDI 2.0L Heavy oil · EB02 PAR

The vehicle most recently passed its MOT on 10 February 2026 with no defects or advisories recorded. Looking back through the records to early 2022, the maintenance trend is remarkably stable, with four consecutive clean passes. Such a consistent history suggests a vehicle that has been maintained to a high standard, with potential issues likely addressed by the owner before they reached the threshold of an MOT failure. With a recorded mileage of 127,429 miles over approximately ten years, this Audi Q3 has averaged roughly 12,743 miles per year. This is considered high usage for this vehicle class, indicating a life likely spent on longer commutes or motorway journeys. While high mileage can be less taxing on the engine than frequent short urban trips, it inevitably leads to accelerated wear on chassis components, drivetrain mounts, and various rubber consumables. Given the absence of MOT advisories, the buyer should focus on age and mileage related wear that may not be captured in a basic test. It is critical to verify the service history regarding the timing belt and water pump, as these are high priority maintenance items for the TDI engine that can lead to catastrophic failure if neglected. Inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of fatigue or splitting, and listen for any knocks or clunks during a test drive, particularly when traversing uneven road surfaces or during low speed manoeuvring. Further physical inspections should include a thorough check of the brake discs for excessive lip wear or corrosion and a verification of the tyre tread depth and sidewall integrity. Ensure there is no uneven wear across the tyre width, which would suggest a need for wheel alignment. Finally, check the condition of the 12V battery and verify that all fluid levels and colours are consistent with the manufacturer specifications, ensuring that oil and coolant changes have followed a strict calendar or mileage based schedule.
