2017 Toyota Yaris 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · EF17 AAU

A consistent record of roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with five consecutive MOT tests showing no mechanical failures or structural defects. This stability is evidenced by the most recent pass on 3 June 2026, which was recorded without any defects or advisories. The only deviation in the history occurred in May 2024, where a minor advisory noted items removed from the driver's view, a non-mechanical issue that did not impact the overall pass. The recorded mileage of 37,255 miles is low for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 4,139 miles per year. Such a low accumulation rate suggests the vehicle has experienced significantly less wear on primary drivetrain components, suspension bushings, and brake surfaces than a typical example. This usage profile indicates a vehicle that has not been subjected to the high-stress cycles associated with long-distance commuting or heavy urban use. Because the DVSA records are devoid of advisories regarding corrosion, brake binding, or suspension wear, the physical inspection can focus on general verification rather than troubleshooting known faults. During a test drive, the buyer should listen for any unusual noises from the suspension over uneven surfaces and ensure the steering remains centered and precise. The absence of any recorded oil leaks or emissions failures suggests a stable mechanical state, though a visual check of the engine bay for any fresh seepage remains standard practice.
