2013 MINI Cooper 1.6L Petrol · FH13 UKW

The 2013 MINI Cooper presents as roadworthy following its most recent DVSA test on 20 March 2025 at 79,371 miles, which returned a pass with no defects recorded. The maintenance trend is stable across the available history, with the only blemishes being two paired fail-pass outcomes on the same test dates in 2023 and 2024 that logged no defects, indicating administrative or presentational issues at the testing station rather than mechanical faults. Mileage accumulation sits at a typical level for a thirteen-year-old vehicle, averaging roughly 6,105 miles per year against the 79,371 miles recorded. The gap between the 25 May 2023 test at 73,086 miles and the 23 May 2024 test at 76,254 miles shows only 3,168 miles covered, with a further 3,117 miles to the March 2025 pass. The record is sparse but clean, showing no advisories or consumable wear flags across any entry. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake disc condition given the car's age and low annual use, as standing periods can accelerate corrosion unseen by the MOT. The duplicated fail entries on 25 May 2023 and 23 May 2024 with zero defects suggest the owner used the same garage repeatedly and basic upkeep was adequate, but structural integrity around subframes should be checked for hidden rust. No recurring mechanical faults appear in the data to demand corrective action. The absence of advisories across four years implies previous owners addressed wear preemptively or the tester omitted minor notes, so verify tyre tread depth and wiper function visually before purchase.
