2021 Toyota Yaris Cross Excel HEV Auto 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · JL03 PUR

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent inspection. In the September 2025 test at 8,938 miles, the car passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the mechanical and structural components have met all DVSA standards without any indication of premature wear or recurring component failure. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a five-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 1,788 miles per year. This low usage suggests the car has been used for short trips, which typically results in less strain on the drivetrain and suspension components. However, such low mileage can sometimes lead to flat-spotting tyres or corrosion on exposed surfaces like brake discs and calipers if the vehicle has sat stationary for extended periods between uses. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults or structural concerns, a physical inspection should focus on the effects of low-mileage storage. A buyer should verify that the tyres show no uneven wear and that the brake discs are free of significant surface pitting from inactivity. Checking the suspension bushes for cracking or perishation is also advisable to ensure the rubber components have remained supple despite the limited mileage. The lack of any recorded advisories suggests the vehicle has been well-maintained or remains in near-new condition.
