2018 Mercedes-Benz C 2.1L Diesel · KO67 VTM

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a perfectly stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 7 July 2025 at 16,879 miles resulted in a pass with zero defects recorded. This clean record has persisted across the last five tests, indicating that the vehicle has remained in a condition of consistent compliance without any mechanical failures or structural degradation flagged by the DVSA. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for an eight-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,110 miles per year. Between February 2021 and July 2025, the car covered only 4,223 miles, showing a consistent and low-usage profile rather than sudden bursts of high mileage. This suggests the car has likely been used for short local trips or has remained stationary for extended periods. While low mileage typically reduces wear on the drivetrain and suspension components, it often introduces risks related to fluid degradation and rubber perish that an MOT test may not fully capture. Because the MOT history shows no recurring faults or advisories a physical inspection should focus on the risks associated with low-mileage storage. You must check for flat spots on the tyres, surface corrosion on the brake discs from lack of use, and potential cracking in rubber suspension bushes or seals. Given the long intervals between tests, verify that the service history confirms oil and fluid changes performed according to time rather than just mileage, as components age over years regardless of distance driven.
