2010 BMW X5 2.9L Diesel · LC60 WZZ

The vehicle passed its most recent MOT on May 26, 2026, but it was flagged for rear tyres on both the nearside and offside that are worn close to the legal limit. The overall condition trend appears stable, as the car has passed its tests consistently over the last few years with relatively few defects. However, there is a recurring pattern regarding rear tyre wear, which was also noted in 2022. This repetition suggests either a lack of regular tyre maintenance or a potential underlying alignment issue. At approximately 5,200 miles per year, the mileage is low for a 16-year-old vehicle. This indicates the car has had light use, but it also introduces the risk that the vehicle may have spent long periods standing, which can lead to the degradation of rubber components and seals. Other historical notes include a registration plate lamp failure in 2024 and slight play in a nearside front suspension arm ball joint in 2023. While these are not current failures, they contribute to the general wear profile of the car. A buyer should first inspect the condition and tread depth of all tyres to see if they have been replaced since the most recent test. You should also check for uneven wear patterns that could indicate suspension or alignment problems, and verify that the previous suspension ball joint issue was properly repaired.
