2004 Toyota Alphard 2.4L Petrol · LW54 ONV

The vehicle remains in a roadworthy state having passed its most recent MOT in December 2025. While the maintenance trend appears generally stable, the latest test at 113,991 miles introduced new advisories regarding nearside and offside rear sub-frame pins or bushes. This represents a shift from the clean records seen in 2022 and 2023, indicating that age-related components are beginning to show fatigue despite the low annual mileage. At 22 years old, the recorded mileage of 113,991 miles is significantly low, averaging approximately 5,181 miles per year. The data shows a consistent usage pattern, with roughly 2,500 miles driven between the 2024 and 2025 tests, and slightly higher intervals in the years preceding that. This low-frequency use suggests lighter strain, though it can also lead to the degradation of rubber components and seals due to time rather than mechanical wear-and-tear. A buyer must conduct a physical inspection of the rear sub-frame to assess the extent of the wear on the pins and bushes flagged in December 2025. These components are critical for maintaining suspension geometry and handling stability. Additionally, the recurring issue with products on the headlamp lenses noted in 2024 and 2025 should be checked for actual clouding or pitting that could eventually compromise light output. While the thin brake pad noted in 2021 was likely addressed, a full check of the current braking system is necessary to ensure no uneven wear has developed during periods of low use.
