2016 Lexmoto FMR 0.1L Petrol · MA66 AAV

The most recent MOT on 8 November 2021 recorded a pass at 3,939 miles and noted no defects, indicating a stable maintenance record up to that date. No subsequent failures or advisories appear, so the trend remains unchanged, though the absence of a recent test leaves current roadworthiness unverified. For a 2016 model, a cumulative mileage of 3,939 miles translates to roughly 394 miles per year, an exceptionally low figure that suggests limited on‑road use or prolonged storage periods. The record shows a single entry, so there are no gaps in mileage reporting, but the lack of further data means any wear that may have occurred since 2021 cannot be quantified from the MOT history. A prospective buyer should examine tyre tread depth and sidewall condition, as low mileage does not guarantee tyre health after years of exposure. Inspect brake discs and pads for uneven wear or glazing, and check that calipers move freely without binding. Verify the condition of suspension components—coil springs, shock absorbers, and bushings—for signs of corrosion or deterioration, especially if the bike has been stored outdoors. Assess the frame for any rust, particularly around welds and mounting points, and confirm that the exhaust system is free of leaks. Given the four‑year interval since the last MOT, arranging a fresh test before purchase is advisable to certify compliance with current emissions, lighting, and safety standards. A thorough visual and functional check of the battery, fuel system seals, and any electronic controls will also help identify issues that may have developed during the period of inactivity.
