2016 Volkswagen Tiguan Match Edition TDI BMT 2.0L Heavy oil · MD12 AMD

The vehicle presents a strong roadworthiness profile, evidenced by a remarkably stable maintenance trend. The most recent inspection conducted on 13 December 2025 at 107,334 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This continuity of clean passes across the last five annual tests indicates that the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard, with no mechanical failures or structural weaknesses flagged by the DV tester. The mileage accumulation is consistent with the vehicle's ten-year age, averaging approximately 10,733 miles per year. Between the September 2021 test at 79,062 miles and the December 2025 test at 107,334 miles, the car covered 28,272 miles, showing steady and predictable usage patterns. There are no significant gaps in the records that suggest long periods of stagnation, nor are there sudden spikes in mileage that would indicate the vehicle has undergone recent stress or heavy-duty cycles associated with high-intensity use. Because the MOT history shows no recurring advisories for suspension bushes, brake calipers, or exhaust corrosion, a physical inspection should focus on standard wear-and-tear items not captured by the tester. A buyer should verify the condition of the tyres and check for any minor oil leaks around the engine or way housing, given the vehicle has surpassed 100,000 miles. Additionally, the service history should be checked against the timing belt and water pump intervals to ensure these critical components have been replaced according to the original manufacturer's schedule.
