2007 Scania 94D 9.0L Diesel · MJZ 2086

The Scania 94D shows a currently roadworthy status with a stable maintenance trend, evidenced by the most recent test on 1 December 2022 at 34,721 miles returning a pass with no defects recorded. The vehicle has carried the same recorded mileage across every test from 4 October 2021 through to the 2022 renewal, which indicates the odometer reading has not advanced between those examinations. Prior to that, the August 2019 test at 18,740 miles also passed cleanly. The trend is neither worsening nor improving in a mechanical sense, as no advisories or defects have ever been logged across the available history. The recorded mileage of 34,721 against a 2007 build implies roughly 1,827 miles per year, a low figure for a nineteen-year-old commercial vehicle. A notable gap exists between the 16 August 2019 test at 18,740 miles and the 13 September 2021 failure at 34,721 miles, during which 15,981 miles were accumulated over just over two years. From September 2021 onward the recorded distance froze at 34,721 across four further tests including two failed examinations on 13 September 2021 and 4 October 2021, both with no defects cited. The sparse record shows no consumable wear items or structural faults flagged at any stage. A buyer should physically verify the odometer integrity given the static 34,721 reading sustained through 2021 and 2022, as a stalled figure across multiple tests warrants suspicion of sensor fault or non-genuine recording. Although the 2021 failures list no defects, the twin rejects so close together suggest administrative or presentation issues rather than resolved mechanical faults. With no advisories on suspension bushes, brake discs, coil springs, or corrosion ever raised, the structural and mechanical record appears clean on paper. In person, the buyer should still inspect for hidden structural rust on chassis members and cab mounts, check brake calipers for binding after prolonged low use, and confirm tyre condition given the vehicle's likely periods of standing. The low annual mileage and test gaps mean perishable components may have degraded without logging an MOT defect.
