2010 Renault Megane 1.6L Petrol · ML10 FAU

This vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a clean MOT history. The most recent test on 11 November 2025 at 126,658 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to November 2023, suggesting the car has been maintained to a standard that meets minimum legal requirements without recurring mechanical failures. The mileage accumulation is consistent with the age of a 2010 model. The vehicle covered 8,054 miles between the November 2024 test at 118,604 miles and the November 2025 test at 126,658 miles. This aligns with the overall average of approximately 7,916 miles per year. There are no erratic jumps in mileage or long periods of inactivity that would suggest neglect or hidden deterioration. The absence of advisories across the last three years is unusual for a sixteen year old Renault Megane. While the record is clean, the lack of flagged wear on consumables suggests a very disciplined maintenance regime or a cautious tester. A buyer should still manually inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for perishing, as these rubber components degrade regardless of MOT outcomes. Particular attention should be paid to the chassis and sills for signs of corrosion, which often develops on vehicles of this era without being flagged until it becomes a structural failure. Checking for brake disc pitting or binding calipers during a test drive is recommended to ensure the braking system remains efficient despite the lack of recorded defects.
