2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 3.0L Diesel · OO51 BOR

A consistent track record of clean MOT results defines this vehicle, with the most recent test on 16 December 2025 showing no defects recorded. Since 2020, the car has maintained a pattern of passing without any recorded failures or advisories, representing a period of stable roadworthiness. The only recorded advisory in the provided history occurred in November 2019, which related to tyre wear on both the nearside and offside front tyres. This absence of structural, braking, or emission-related defects over the last five years suggests that the components subject to annual inspection have met the required standards during recent testing cycles. The vehicle has covered 87,716 miles over its eleven-year lifespan, which equates to an average annual accumulation of approximately 7,974 miles. This usage profile is consistent with typical long-distance or mixed-use patterns for a vehicle of this age and class. Mechanically, this level of mileage suggests that while the vehicle has not been subjected to excessive high-frequency wear, it has been driven enough to ensure that components such as the drivetrain, suspension bushes, and braking systems are regularly utilised rather than suffering from the degradation associated with prolonged periods of inactivity. Given that the only recorded issue in the history involved front tyre wear, a prospective buyer should pay close attention to the condition of the front tyres during a physical inspection. While the 2019 advisory was resolved, any uneven wear on the tread edges can be a symptom of incorrect wheel alignment or worn suspension components. During a test drive, listen for any rhythmic thumping or humming from the front end, which could indicate tyre irregularities, and check for any pulling to one side when the steering wheel is released on a level surface. Furthermore, while the recent records are clear of advisories, the age of the vehicle warrants a close inspection of rubber components and fluid integrity. Although no oil misting or leaks were flagged in the latest tests, the absence of recorded advisories for leaks or corrosion in recent years should be verified by checking the engine bay and underbody for any signs of fresh weeping from gaskets or seals. Pay attention to the steering feel and listen for any knocks or clunks when navigating uneven surfaces, as these can indicate wear in the suspension linkages or bushings that may not yet have reached the threshold for an MOT advisory.
