2014 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · PE14 BVP

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted on 29 May 2025 at 78,876 miles resulted in no defects or advisories whatsoever. This indicates a stable maintenance trend over the last five years, suggesting that the previous owners have been proactive in addressing mechanical and safety requirements before they result in a test failure. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a twelve-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 6,500 miles per annum. Between the May 2021 test at 60,666 miles and the 2025 test at 78,876 miles, the car covered 18,210 miles at a steady rate of roughly 4,500 miles annually. This low-intensity usage profile often implies short-distance commuting, which places less strain on the drivetrain, clutch, and suspension components compared to high-mileage examples. While the digital record shows no recurring faults in structural integrity or braking systems, a physical inspection should focus on components susceptible to age-related degradation despite low mileage. A buyer should check the rubber suspension bushes and split for cracking, as vehicles that sit frequently can see perish dry out. It is also prudent to inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting, as low usage can sometimes prevent the friction pads from clearing away rust effectively.
