2016 Toyota Auris 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · RB63 HAB

This Toyota Auris presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 4 June 2025 at 47,645 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent five-year trend of flawless test results, indicating a vehicle that has been maintained to a high standard without any recurring mechanical failures. The mileage is notably low for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging roughly 4,764 miles per year. The accumulation has remained steady and predictable, increasing from 25,220 miles in June 2021 to 47,645 miles by June 2025. There are no erratic jumps in mileage or suspicious gaps in the testing cycle that would suggest periods of neglect or undisclosed heavy usage. While the MOT history is devoid of faults, the low annual mileage suggests the car may have spent significant time stationary. A buyer should physically inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion and check the tyres for flat spots or age-related cracking, as rubber perishes regardless of tread depth. Checking the battery health is also advisable given the light usage patterns. The absence of any flagged issues regarding suspension bushes, coil springs, or structural corrosion over the last five years is a strong positive indicator. The vehicle appears to have avoided the common pitfalls of urban wear and tear. A physical inspection should focus on fluid levels and general rubber seals to ensure the car has not suffered from under-use.
