2007 Volkswagen Touran SE TDI 140 2.0L Diesel · SEZ 7230

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status based on a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted on 27 May 2025 at 90,254 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This streak of perfect pass records across the last five tests suggests that the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard and does not currently suffer from recurring mechanical failures or structural degradation that requires attention. The mileage profile is notably low for a 2007 registration, averaging approximately 4,750 miles per year. The data shows a steady but slow accumulation of distance, with 4,093 miles covered between May 2024 and May 2025. There is a visible gap between the February 2020 and April 2022 tests where the vehicle sat stationary. While low mileage reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, long periods of standing can sometimes lead to the degradation of rubber components, perished seals, or flat-spotting if not monitored. Given the lack of recorded advisories, a physical inspection should focus on components prone to age rather than high-mileage wear. A buyer should check the suspension for cracks in the wish arms and play in the bushes, as rubber becomes brittle over nineteen years regardless of distance. It is vital to inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting, which often occurs on low-use vehicles. Checking the underside for structural rust on the sills and subframe remains essential to ensure that the low mileage has not masked underlying oxidation caused by age.
