2015 Skoda Citigo 1.0L Petrol · SR64 AHY

The Skoda Citigo presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 2 February 2023 at 31,570 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the four prior annual tests from 2019 to 2022 each passed cleanly. No advisories or mechanical faults appear anywhere in the five-year DVSA record, indicating the vehicle has not shown worsening, recurring, or unresolved issues under official inspection. The mileage pattern reflects very light use for an 11-year-old car. Recorded distance rose from 14,405 miles in the 4 February 2019 test to 31,570 miles by February 2023, an average gain of roughly 4,290 miles per year across that span but only about 2,870 miles per year since 2015. The largest single jump was 6,528 miles between February 2019 and February 2020; the other intervals stayed near 3,000 miles. Such low totals suggest extended standing periods are likely, though the clean MOT history gives no evidence of neglect in statutory testing. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection before purchase. Low mileage with long idle spells can allow corrosion to develop on brake discs, suspension bushes, and underbody structures even when MOT tests show no defects. Fluid degradation, flat-spotted tyres, and perished rubber components are not always captured in a pass result. Verify the actual condition of the exhaust system, coil springs, and brake calipers in person. Confirm the odometer reading matches the 31,570 miles logged in February 2023 and check for any undocumented accident or structural repair. The official record supports a favourable verdict, but sparse test data alone cannot certify ongoing mechanical integrity.
